Overview of the opportunity:<\/strong> This is a great learning opportunity for a person who seeks to gain practical experience in all aspects of public accounting.
Working at a small firm such as John K. Jang Chartered Professional Accountant allows you to gain valuable on-the-job experience while building your professional knowledge and business acumen. You\u2019ll be working closely to the Principal and have access to ongoing professional development and mentorship at every level. You will be working on the various files for local businesses and organizations, adding value and gaining valuable on-the-job experience.<\/p>

What you will do:<\/strong> As a Staff Accountant in a small public practice, you will complete bookkeeping which includes journal entries, bank reconciliations, month-end closes, prepare NTR financial statements, Review engagement, Audit engagement, HST returns, Personal Tax Returns, Corporate Tax Returns and other Ad Hoc Requests.<\/p>

Remuneration:<\/strong> based on your qualification and experience<\/p>

Qualifications:<\/strong>
– Fluent in both English and Korean is a must
– Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
– Client orientation and thinking outside of box
– Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
– Strong problem solving, organizational, and time management skills
– 1 year+ of accounting experience, preferably in the public accounting field
– University Degree or College Diploma in Business and Accounting
– Working towards an accounting designation would be considered a great asset
– Previous working experience in QuickBooks & Profile, Caseware is considered a great asset<\/p>
